As a Benefit Company under British Columbia law, our mission is to develop affordable and mixed-income housing in developing communities that are poised for sustainable growth. We aim to work closely with Indigenous organizations, support agencies, and local community partners to ensure our projects prioritize housing access for Indigenous women and single mothers, including those rebuilding their lives.
Our philosophy is simple: the foundation of a renewed life begins with the foundation of a home. By focusing on affordability, accessibility, and building excellence, we aim to create environments where women and families can live with dignity, stability, and hope.
In alignment with our Benefit Company status, our impact statement, to provide affordable housing for Indigenous women and single mothers, including those recovering from domestic or substance-related hardships, is measured and reported annually against an independent third-party social impact standard. This ensures that our performance and progress are transparent, verifiable, and accountable to our stakeholders and community partners.
AAlia Impact Communities Benefit Company Ltd. is wholly owned by AAlia Holdings (Canada) Inc., and was established over four years ago with a clear purpose: to create meaningful social impact through community-based housing. From the beginning, our focus has been on collaborating with Indigenous groups and supporting single mothers seeking a new lease on life after facing substance or domestic abuse challenges.
